Bring your craft to the kitchen at Hobo Copenhagen
Good food, good teamwork and the feeling of a service coming together. If you enjoy being part of a kitchen and want to keep learning, we’d love to meet you.
We’re looking for part-time chefs to join Hobo Copenhagen, supporting our evening à la carte restaurant and all-day bar. Our food centres on dishes made for sharing, good ingredients and confident flavours.
You might already work in a kitchen, be training as a chef or have some practical experience you’d like to build on. What matters to us is that you bring care to your work, curiosity and a willingness to get involved.
You’ll work alongside the Head Chef and your kitchen colleagues in a modern, inclusive kitchen. We value calm, clear communication, constructive feedback and helping each other through a busy service. There’s room to ask questions, share ideas and learn.
Depending on your experience, you’ll:
Help prepare ingredients and cook dishes for our restaurant and all-day bar.
Support service with attention to flavour, presentation and consistency.
Keep your station organised and help the team get ready for service.
Handle ingredients with care and contribute to reducing food waste.
Follow our food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures, with guidance from the team.
Help with cleaning, closing and leaving the kitchen ready for your colleagues.
We’ll introduce you to our dishes and routines, building your responsibilities around your skills and experience.
You have some practical kitchen experience and enjoy cooking. Experience from an à la carte restaurant is welcome, but you don’t need years of experience or formal culinary training to get in touch.
You’re reliable, curious and happy to lend a hand. You arrive ready for your shift, take feedback positively and ask when you’re unsure.
You treat colleagues with respect and help create a supportive atmosphere. When service gets busy, you stay attentive, communicate clearly and work with the people around you.
You can communicate with your colleagues in English.
You’ll work at least every other weekend as part of your agreed schedule. Being able and keen to work more is a welcome plus.
At Hobo, we bring a professional, passionate and playful approach to hospitality. We care about good food and want people to feel comfortable being themselves.
You’ll join a new team during our opening journey, with practical training, supportive colleagues and the opportunity to develop your skills.
Hobo Copenhagen is part of Strawberry, alongside hotels such as Admiral Hotel and Villa Copenhagen. You’ll be part of a wider hospitality family, with staff benefits according to your employment terms.
We’d love to hear a little about you, your kitchen experience and what you enjoy cooking. Tell us what you’d like to learn, what you bring to a team and how many hours you’re looking to work.
Position: Part-time chef, with contracted hours agreed during the recruitment process.
