Wanna join our community? We’re always on the lookout for new team members, interns, brand ambassadors and fun personalities. Let’s talk.

About Hobo

More than a hotel, more than a meeting-place. Hobo Hotel is a concept, equal parts born from the neighbourhoods that surround us, and here to take part in shaping their future. Hobo is driven by passion, and the people working here are one-of-a-kind. We truly mean that: the quiet, the loud, the punky, and the soft.

Become a part of our team

We’re looking for creative minds and unconventional thinkers who bring fresh perspectives to the table. At Hobo, there is always room to try new things, room to clean, room to make mistakes, room to say hi to guests, and above all, room for individuals. We want you to bring your personality to work. You don’t have to have a background in hospitality to work with us. In fact, we prefer it if you don’t. Apply today!

Front of House Crew 30% - Hobo Oslo

Are you a new culinary leader, who is independent and obsessed with the details that turn great concepts into an unforgettable guest experience?

We’re on the hunt for a passionate, driven, and structured Sous Chef to lead our dynamic, guest-facing kitchen at Hobo Hotel Stockholm.

If you are a self-starter who thrives when working independently, loves keeping a team spirit alive, and knows how to maintain a sharp, profitable food operation, keep reading.

What you’ll be doing (besides cooking wonderful food…)

As our Sous Chef, you will own the day-to-day operations of our bar and events kitchen. Because this is a focused, fast-moving outlet, you will frequently work independently during service while managing the bigger picture:

  • Concept & Dish Updates: Ensuring our established Hobo food concept is followed flawlessly, while taking charge of updating dishes and calculating food costs when introducing new items.

  • Operational Independence: Managing the day-to-day kitchen routines, from prep to service, often working solo to deliver highest-quality guest experiences.

  • Inventory & Orders: Taking full responsibility for stock inventory, tracking metrics for management, and making smart, budget-conscious orders.

  • Hygiene & Safety Ownership: Taking full charge of maintaining pristine cleanliness, food safety standards, and strict adherence to hygiene and fire safety routines.

  • Team Spirit & Coordination: Inspiring the wider team, coordinating activities, and keeping energy high so that a positive vibe travels from the pass to our guests.

Who are you?

  • A junior leader, someone with experience as a shift leader, eager to meet new challenges and innovative ways meaning you understand both high standards and operational structure. As well as a hunger to grow.

  • A professional who is highly comfortable working alone during busy shifts, while still being a collaborative partner to management.

  • Organized and capable of handling inventory, ordering & event prep.

  • A true role model who treats both guests and colleagues with respect and kindness.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen

  • Legally allowed to work in Sweden

What we can offer (and yes, it’s pretty good)

  • A junior leadership role with high autonomy, varied days, and professional growth.

  • Thorough onboarding and continuous development opportunities within Hobo and the broader Strawberry group.

  • A company deeply committed to sustainability and social responsibility through our WeCare program.

  • Amazing staff benefits across the entire Strawberry network.

And maybe most importantly:

You’ll be a key player in building a Hobo that we’re proud of. A workplace where diversity fuels creativity, and where your leadership directly shapes our daily guest experience.

Are we the perfect match?

If you’re an organized, energetic person ready to bring your experience into a kitchen that values creativity within a strong concept, sustainability, and team spirit, we’d love to hear from you.

And maybe most importantly:

You’ll be part of building a Hobo that we’re proud of. A workplace where diversity fuels creativity. A place where you can leave your personal imprint. A place people genuinely want to work — we’d love to hear from you.

Let’s cook something great together.
