In-House Sales Agent

Hobo Oslo er ikke bare et hotell. Det er en bevegelse, en livsstil og et globalt fellesskap – bygget på ekte, lokal kjærlighet.

Siden vi åpnet dørene midt på Karl Johan i oktober 2025, har vi snudd opp-ned på alle forestillinger om hva et hotell skal være. Vi har byttet ut hvite duker med konserter, pop-ups og en energi som vibrerer i takt med Oslos puls. Resultatet? Vi har allerede fått internasjonal oppmerksomhet, våre mat- og drikkekonsepter hylles av både gjester og kritikere og overnattingsgjestene strømmer til.

Nå leter vi etter deg som tør å være deg selv. Vi søker ikke roboter med en standardisert manual, men kreative, jordnære mennesker med en «glasset-er-halvfullt»-mentalitet. Om rollen: Den kommersielle motoren

Som vår nye In-House Sales Agent får du en unik og sentral posisjon. Du blir vår dedikerte ressurs på huset, med et stort selvstendig ansvar for den daglige driften av salgsavdelingen.

Du vil jobbe tett med vår Sales Manager, og sammen utgjør dere hotellets kommersielle motor. Hos Hobo handler salg om mer enn bare romnetter; vi selger puls, opplevelser og øyeblikk. Dette er rollen for deg som elsker å ha full oversikt, men som trives aller best der det skjer.

Dine viktigste oppgaver:

  • Selvstendig drift: Du eier in-house-sales og sørger for lynrask og sømløs håndtering av alle forespørsler.
  • Operativt bindeledd: Du leder PM-møtene (Pre-Convention) hvor du driller avdelingslederne i kjøreplanene du har laget. Du må elske å ta kontroll og ha svar på alle "hva hvis"-spørsmål fra driften.
  • Event-arkitekt & Vertskap: Du planlegger events, gjennomfører inspirerende visninger og fungerer som "host" ved morgenevents. Du er den som ønsker velkommen og sørger for at alt starter på skinner.
  • F&B-hvisker: Du fungerer som oversetter mellom kundens drømmer og kjøkkenets virkelighet. Du forstår logistikken bak kulissene og sikrer at vi alltid leverer det vi lover.
  • Salg & Mersalg: Du ser muligheter kunden ikke visste fantes. Du maksimerer hver booking og sørger for at alt registreres med kirurgisk presisjon.
  • Booking-ansvarlig: Ved større grupper er du ansvarlig for at rom-bookinger blir lagt inn korrekt, og du har tett dialog med resepsjonen for å sikre en sømløs ankomst for gjestene.
  • Strategisk støttespiller: Du er Sales Managers høyre hånd og en viktig bidragsyter i kreative og strategiske prosesser.

Hvem er du?

Vi ser etter en "do-er" som trives når det koker. Du er profesjonell til fingerspissene, men har alltid glimtet i øyet.

  • Uredd og selvstendig: Du elsker å styre din egen hverdag og tar fullt eierskap til dine prosjekter.
  • Detaljfrik (på den gode måten): Du har stålkontroll på logistikken. Når driften spør om detaljer, har du svaret klart før de har snakket ferdig.
  • Kreativ organisator: Du ser det store bildet og elsker å sy sammen kule konsepter og eventer.
  • Erfaren lagspiller: Du har bakgrunn fra hotell (gjerne resepsjon eller booking) og forstår dynamikken mellom salg og drift.
  • Systemsmart: Det er en stor fordel om du kjenner Mews, men viktigst er at du er teknisk anlagt og lærer raskt.
  • Språk: Du kommuniserer flytende på et skandinavisk språk og engelsk.

About the Role
As our House Curator, you are the voice, eyes and energy of Hobo. This role goes beyond traditional marketing. You’ll shape how Hobo is seen, felt and experienced, from social media and campaigns to on-site activations and collaborations.

One day you’re shooting content at a packed event, the next you’re planning a campaign, analyzing performance or building partnerships with creatives and brands. You are both strategic and hands-on, equally comfortable behind a camera, in a brainstorm or hosting something unexpected in the lobby. 

Hobo is a melting pot of local and global talent, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in that environment. You might not come directly from hospitality, but you bring a strong network within the local cultural or pop culture scene, a passion for world-class communication and a clear understanding of how to build long-term brand value with a strong commercial mindset.

You are a natural ideator, someone who develops relevant activations, creates engaging content and understands what drives people’s perception of a brand within both lifestyle and hospitality.

To succeed in this role, you are positive, flexible and always have your finger on the pulse. You bring high levels of self-leadership, creativity and proactivity, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment. With strong social skills, you collaborate across all departments and play a key role in shaping Hobo’s unique and evolving market position.

You are inspired by global culture and know how to lead creative processes, bringing people with you and confidently turning ideas into reality.

What You’ll Do

  • Ideate, create and execute digital content aligned with the brand's strategy, activation calendar, brand book and visual identity that engage Hobo’s community and guests

  • Produce digital content (photo, video, copy) aligned with Hobo’s brand, tone of voice and strategy

  • Capture and communicate the energy of the hotel across social media, website and campaigns

  • Plan and execute digital campaigns with a strong commercial mindset

  • Manage and develop Hobo’s digital presence (social channels, website, content calendar)

  • Build relationships with creatives, partners and the local community

  • Stay up to date with trends in hospitality, lifestyle and social media

  • Work closely with the commercial team to track performance, KPIs and optimize while finding new ways to achieve results

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of branding, storytelling and commercial communication

  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite 

  • Experience in photography, editing and basic motion/video content

  • Experience working with digital marketing and social media platforms

  • A strong connection to culture, lifestyle or hospitality

  • Fluent in English and Swedish written and spoken with knowledge of writing for different channels, target groups, and occasions

  • Desirable relevant education or a few years of work experience in a similar position

  • Desirable experience from working with lifestyle or pop culture


Bonus if you

  • Have an existing network within the creative or cultural scene

  • Have experience with digital marketing & analytics

  • Have worked with lifestyle brands, activations or partnerships

Employment Type
This position is a full time position and your reporting manager is the General Manager. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
