Summer receptionist, 30h / 3 weeks
Hobo Helsinki is in search of a talented and enthusiastic receptionist to join our team <3
This is a temporary position for an average of 30h / 3 weeks with a start date to be agreed upon, most likely in the beginning of June and until the end of August / beginning of September. The position requires working various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
What you'll do:
- Welcome every guest like they’re stepping into your living room, warm smiles, smooth arrivals, easy stays, and effortless goodbyes
- Keep the flow going by teaming up with housekeeping, maintenance, and the rest of the crew to sort out guest needs quickly and kindly
- Handle the practical stuff like billing, payments, and reservation tweaks with clarity, calm, and a touch of Hobo charm
You'll shine here if you:
- Bring genuine warmth and curiosity to every guest interaction
- Stay calm when things get busy and keep the vibes steady at the front desk
- Communicate clearly at least in English and maybe also Finnish (extra languages are always a flex)
- Notice the little things that make a stay feel effortless
Bonus points for:
- Experience in reception, hospitality, or similar roles where people are involved
- A love for Helsinki’s culture, food, music, or hidden corners
- Tech confidence; you don’t need to be a wizard, just not afraid of multiple programs
